PLUTO 3 UPDATE

To perform the update, drop the !Pluto application from within the archive onto your working version of !Pluto (while it's not running).

Notes

System Update. If you are running a 26 bit RISC_OS (i.e. earlier than RISC_OS 5.0) and have not yet installed any 32 bit compatible applications you may see "Shared C Library out of date". You will need to update your !System. Download 32 bit C Library update to !System (384kB no password needed for this download)

Address book. Pluto version 3 will reformat the address book (!Pluto.!Choices.addresses). You may wish to make a backup copy of this before you update Pluto.

MimeMap module. RISC_OS 5 already includes the MimeMap module. However !Pluto.!Run includes an RMEnsure line to load the MimeMap module on earlier systems. This shouldn't have any effect on RISC_OS 5, but if there is a problem, just remove it from the !Pluto.!Run

Other modules
A 32 bit version of the RegEx module is included in !Pluto.Resources. This was compiled by Stefan Bellon. The program source is available under GPL licence at www.sbellon.de/sw-ports.html

A 32 bit version of OLESupport module is included in !Pluto.Resources but you should only use this if you have !Edit as your preferred editor rather than Zap or StrongEd.
